We got great value for our money with a beautiful room, stunning views, and a jungle-like atmosphere. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from Tayrona National Park. The staff treated us like family, offering us a free ride and even giving us complimentary water bottles.
The breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe by adding more options or variety.

The value for the money was excellent, with comfortable rooms and a unique design among boulders. The location was perfect, close to Tayrona National Park and easily accessible by both private car and public transport. The staff were very pleasant and the whole property was tastefully designed, including a great little bar and restaurant, and a relaxing pool area.
The morning meal could be improved with more variety.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house built on rocks, with lovely stairways and a patio. the room and bathroom were clean and spacious, and the mosquito nets provided a peaceful sleep. the staff at Ecohostal Rio Piedra made us feel welcome from the very beginning, and their helpfulness added to the overall positive experience. the site itself was spacious, with many hangout areas and a refreshing pool. the highlight was the abating outlook point, complete with hammocks, where we felt like we were right in Tayrona Park. the food was delicious and the beverages were reasonably priced.
The nearby big road, which led to some noise at the pool and restaurant. thankfully our house was not directly affected by the noise.

The location next to the park entrance at Ecohostal Rio Piedra was ideal. the helpful Chilean guy at the front desk made our stay even better. the picturesque setting in the middle of nature, surrounded by lush jungle and birds chirping, added to the ambiance. the rooms, which felt like tree houses built into the side of the mountain, provided a unique experience. the owner was friendly and even offered us a free ride to Tayrona park, along with two complimentary water bottles. the breakfasts were simple but decent, and dinner was available for an additional cost. The hotel also provided a shuttle to the park entrance, making it very convenient. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 😊.

We stayed at Ecohostal Rio Piedra for 2 nights and it was perfect for our visit to Tayrona Park. The surroundings are gorgeous, with lush greenery, a pool, and beautiful stairs. The jungle huts offer amazing views and a lot of privacy. The staff is friendly, some of them speak excellent English. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the balcony with a hammock is a great place to relax. The pool area is lovely, with plenty of seating options. The atmosphere is relaxed and the price is good. Just remember to bring enough cash, as there are no ATMs nearby.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Ecohostal Rio Piedra was fantastic! We were amazed by the unique treehouse-like rooms built into the side of the mountain, surrounded by lush jungle. The ambiance was truly wonderful. We enjoyed waking up to the sight of monkeys and iguanas in the trees. The breakfasts were simple but decent, and the dinner options were tasty. The location was perfect, being so close to the entrance of Tayrona National Park, and the hotel even provided a convenient shuttle service. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as the lack of hot water and spotty wifi in the rooms, we were still able to have a great glamping experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and memorable stay.

the bungalows, built into the stone cliffs, gave off a true jungle vibe. the highlight was definitely the balcony with a hammock - a perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings. the food offered at the property was surprisingly affordable and delicious, especially the dinners. the staff were incredibly friendly and even provided a complimentary shuttle to the nearby national park. I also can't forget to mention Zeus, the adorable and friendly dog!
Can't fault the property in any way! 😊.
